Dormientes Conveniunt

This is the sleeping den. Canine and Equine citizens of Cresix alike sleep here. It is completely secluded by trees. Every once in a while, Dormientes Conveniunt will warm up. Every other day, it stay very cold. The average climate of the place could be dry get freezing. It has never rained here.

Enelex pokes at the dry, icy ground. It feels like nothing on his claw. In the distance, howling and thunder sound. The lad called Enelex ponders what might be going on in Periculum Frigus, the far north. That is where the war takes place. The gods create rain in Periculum Frigus.

Rain has always been one of Enelex's secret desires. He has always wanted to feel wet drops from the sky on his nose and ears. He has always wanted to run around, lapping up the mysterious parcipitation from the heavens. The only moisture Enelex ever felt was the water from Inebriat Foramen. This was just watering hole water. How could the stuff called rain be any different?

Enelex perks his ears. His smells equine. Actually, a mixture of feline and equine. What could it be? "Hello out there!" Enelex barks.
No answer.
"Hello! Who are you?" He says diplomatically.

The female African Rock Python is looking for a chicken to fill up the rest of her belly in order to satisfy her meal. Seeing one not to far away, Amanda sneaks up on it, ready to attack. " 3...2...1!" she shouts, then attacks by wrapping her body around it, killing it with muscle.

"Hello there and who are you?" she inquires just getting ready to eat the chicken.

"I am Enelex," Enelex states, "Are you native to Cresix? I have never seen you around." Enelex observes the snake then wolf down another huge bite of the chicken. The icy, pale green grass was now calico with blood and feathers. "Seems you like the flavour of chicken."

Enelex sits down invitingly as he converses with the snake. 'What a peculiar party I have,' he thinks, 'a snake, a lion/horse, and a wolf/bird.' Enelex licks his bird paw; as blood from the chicken has splattered it. "I need to hunt later, the chicken's meat is quite tempting!"


He hears more than just the snake, Enelex realizes. The lad looks through the trees and spots a creature flying through the labyrinth. A flying squirrel? No. "Hello? Someone else here?"

"I'm Amanda, an African Rock Python and hey you horse-lion creature, cool it because I won't hurt you at all. I only hurt humans and the prey I am hunting" she says, then starts to eat the chicken, feeling happy that she fed herself, rather han being fed by a zoo and stupid humans.

Amanda finally finishes the chicken then gets a drink. "So Enelex, where do you come from? Me? I come from a zoo. I hated it there. When I was a baby, I was used for showings and I absolutely hated it. Kids would try to touch me and I didn't let them because the man didn't say I was an extremely dangerous type of snake and boy I am" she sighs, then sees movement in the distance. Not knowing what it is, Amanda starts to hiss.

Realizing it's a human, Amanda hisses in defense, knowing she must help protect the creatures by either killing the human with her very strong muscle or scare it to chase it off. "It's a human, what should we do about it? Chase it off or kill? Because I think it's carrying a gun"

(I wasn't talking about Aphrea. Just saying...)

Amanda gave up and slithers past two creatures (Aprhea and Mokka). She looked at the human, she hissed aggressively as she realizes its a child with a gun. "Go away scamp or I'll kill you" she hissed, then watches as the child runs off but could sense that it wasn't afraid of her. "Jerk" she thought to her self.
